Marketing Strategist
1. What is your professional super power?
Storytelling! I thrive on sharing meaningful stories and brand experiences through high-impact media and marketing campaigns, social programs, digital content creation and events. I’ve worked in a variety of industries including consumer technology, craft beer, videogames, animation, healthcare and more. My favorite professional experiences involve making narratives come to life! From working with Jet Li on a PlayStation game to working with nonprofits that make a difference or publicizing the first black-owned brewery in Oregon, I love having the opportunity to build and share unique founder, company and product stories.
2. What excites you most about joining the team?
The power of connection starts with communication, whether that’s through a simple gesture (a smile), words or action. Conello offers amazing potential for fostering connection in the workplace, where most people spend the majority of their time. This statement really gets at the crux of why I’m so inspired: “In an era defined by AI and automation, Conello is a people-first company reminding the world that human connection is still the most valuable asset in any organization.” I’m looking forward to seeing how people use Conello to form authentic connections.
3. What does community mean to you?
Community is a shared sense of place, purpose or interest, and it is all around us. Yet, sometimes it’s hard to join a particular community or feel confident that you are a valued part of it. Community exists because people connect, share and depend on each other. A thriving community is one where its members feel included, show up and give back.
4. How do you currently “find your people” at work?
“What did you do over the weekend?” conversation starters at the start of a meeting are a great way to discover if your co-worker also went camping, went to a concert or read a book that’s also on your short list. Small insights into how we spend our time outside of work can be the thread that pulls us together at work.
5. What’s a dream for the future of work that you’d love to see come true?
A dream workplace has the right mix of balance; it’s where we have a shared understanding that work is important, but it doesn’t define us. I’d like to be able to make connections with like-minded people and work with a passionate team that is committed to progress and steps up when challenges arise.
