Portland Startup Week

Continued Research

Last week we had the opportunity to demo our app to two HR managers during follow-up calls. Their feedback on our features was incredibly insightful and is already shaping some of our next improvements. We’re excited to continue these conversations and deepen our understanding of what people leaders are looking for. To accomplish that, we’ll soon be reaching out to a new group of HR managers, and testing our solution in our next round of experiments.

Spreading the Word

We’ve been putting Conello out into the world in a big way these past two weeks. As part of a Portland Startup Week, we participated in an interview spotlighting our recent pitch competition appearance, attended a couple high-impact networking events, and even joined for a segment in a fun founder’s podcast.

These opportunities not only allowed us to share our mission with broader audiences, but also helped us forge some truly meaningful connections with people who are passionate about work culture. We’re excited to share the footage and stories from these moments soon! Keep an eye out for updates on our website and social media.

As our mission continues to resonate with the people we’ve met in our outreach push, we’re so excited to say that we’ve connected with many individuals who are deeply aligned with our vision. Several interviews are in the works with prospective equity volunteers. These individuals are talented, passionate people who could help bring Conello to the next level!

We’re thrilled to share that our MVP (Minimum Viable Product) is officially up and running—just in time for pilot access starting this June! This version includes all of the core features needed to begin testing with our early users. But we’re not stopping here. As we move forward, we’re continuing to build toward what we’re calling our “Minimum Awesome Product,” which will include more of the bells and whistles like integrations, admin dashboards, and built-in survey tools, all slated for release before the end of the year.

Our goal with this early pilot access is to invite organizations to become true design partners with us, and to help us shape the experience from the ground up. After the pilot window closes in September, new users will still receive 60 days of free access instead of the current 90, but early partners specifically will have the unique chance to leave their mark on what we’re building together.
